Mental Health Support Specialist

Hestia Housing Support is a leading organization in the field of mental health support. We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:
This position will involve working with individuals who are experiencing mental health crises, providing them with guidance, support, and resources to help them manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals in need
- Assess client needs and develop personalized recovery plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other agencies to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities to build relationships with potential clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of mental health principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic record-keeping systems
