Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Band 8A

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, ACP, physiotherapy, paramedicine, or pharmacy, and will be qualified to work at Band 7 (trainee) or 8a depending on experience and qualification. You will be based within our trust, with the option to negotiate your base location between Pilgrim Hospital Boston or Lincoln County Hospital Lincoln.

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting our primary percutaneous angioplasty programme and developing your knowledge and skills in arrhythmia, heart failure, and chest pain services. You will also be part of our on-call rota and will receive an additional on-call supplement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the primary percutaneous angioplasty programme
  • Develop knowledge and skills in arrhythmia, heart failure, and chest pain services
  • Participate in the on-call rota and receive an additional on-call supplement
  • Contribute to the development of our services and provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Current Professional registration within area of practice
  • IRMER certified
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Registered Independent Non-Medical Prescriber
  • ALS provider
  • History taking and physical assessment qualification
  • ALS Instructor
  • Teaching qualification
  • Audit Experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Management and leadership experience
  • Ability to work independently
