Job Title: Senior Project Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Project Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating complex projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project schedules, including baseline schedules, critical path, resources, work breakdown structure, milestones, and coding.
  • Participate in interactive planning workshops to develop comprehensive schedules using best practice and benchmarking data.
  • Ensure all activities are logic linked and aligned with project deliverables, project execution plan, and contracting strategy.
  • Update schedule progress in accordance with processes and procedures, validating work completed.
  • Identify and explain variances between current schedule, plan, earned value, and forecasts, communicating these clearly to the project team.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferable knowledge in Primavera P6 and ability to learn new software as required.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques, including critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique.
  • Preferable experience in project planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of adhering to policies and procedures.
