About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our team at AtkinsRéalis, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy firm. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for leading planning projects across various markets and sectors, working closely with colleagues in environmental, engineering, and design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as Planning Lead on projects, providing support to junior colleagues and Planning team leaders.
  • Being actively involved in bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses.
  • Acting as lead consultant for multi-disciplinary projects, taking responsibility for project management and project delivery.
  • Engaging with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • A relevant Planning degree and either RTPI membership is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, determined, and resilient with excellent time management and success in meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience with the Environment Impact Assessment process, Strategic Planning, and Planning policy.
  • Understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO, or equivalent applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare accurate and well-presented reports and deliver presentations to internal and external clients.
