Job Summary: Blue Arrow is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of food and ensure dishes are clean before serving.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitasking and adapting to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of food preparation, presentation, and service standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a catering or kitchen-based role.
  • Strong understanding of working in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Current DBS or willingness to obtain one.
