VFX Project Coordinator

EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani S.r.l. is seeking a highly organized and skilled VFX Project Coordinator to join our team in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a valid working visa and be able to work closely with the VFX Producer to strategize and implement tasks and objectives critical to delivering projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with producers, leads, and supervisors to track and manage workflow across departments to meet internal and external deadlines.
  2. Organize reviews and meetings, taking notes and following up on the information.
  3. Ensure that the production database is updated daily with notes and information.
  4. Communicate information quickly and succinctly to the various departments both in person and by email.
  5. Maintain fluent communication between supervisor/lead and all other departments.
  6. Anticipate and communicate problems to producers and supervisors to resolve problems quickly.
  7. Take detailed and comprehensive notes and review them with the lead.
  8. Supervise and organize the dispatch of deliveries to customers.
  9. Help maintain a positive, upbeat, and professional production office by being proactive and problem-solving oriented.
Requirements:
  1. Highly organized and skilled in project management.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to prioritize conflicting activities.
  4. Ability to remain calm in a busy environment.
  5. Basic understanding of live-action and CG-based visual effects workflows.
  6. Basic understanding of common file formats and resolutions.
  7. Previous experience as a VFX coordinator or VFX Production Assistant.
  8. Existing knowledge of production tracking systems (Ftrack a plus).
  9. Good knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, Excel).
