Job Description

Midas VFX is seeking an experienced and highly organized VFX Line Producer to oversee the day-to-day operations of VFX production. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production schedule, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery of VFX shots and sequences.
  • Collaborate with VFX supervisors, producers, and department heads to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
  • Track and report on VFX shot and sequence progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage resource allocation, including artists, technical staff, and equipment, to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment with the overall creative vision.
  • Ensure VFX deliverables meet technical and creative standards.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing the team's workload effectively.
  • Assist in the bidding process, providing accurate time and cost estimates for upcoming projects.
  • Monitor and maintain project budgets, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date production documentation is accessible to relevant team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Line Producer, Production Manager, or similar role within the VFX industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the VFX production pipeline and post-production processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of artists and technicians.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard VFX software and tools.
