Job Description:
As an Emergency Care Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in emergency situations. This includes driving approved ambulance vehicles under normal and emergency circumstances, following service standards and road traffic laws, and performing daily vehicle checks to ensure readiness.

You will also be responsible for gathering information from carers or others at scenes and reporting to relevant authorities, assisting qualified practitioners in providing care, and maintaining knowledge of medical equipment. Your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional patient care will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Person Specification:
The successful candidate will possess a recognised blue light qualification (IHCD / Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving), Full UK Clean Driving Licence with at least 2 years experience, and FREC Level 3 and FREC Level 4 qualifications. A strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols is essential, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
