Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

CV Library is currently working with a well-established environmental services company to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to work on a 24/7 processing facility in Wigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, examining and fault-finding on plant, and ensuring health and safety environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance activities on waste plastic sorting site equipment and plant
  • Examine and fault-find on plant to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure health and safety environmental compliance and contribute to continuous improvement in operations
  • Carry out replacement, repair, and installation work to required standards
Requirements
  • Engineering qualifications NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience with lifting, slinging, and mechanical lifting aids
