About the Job:

As a Therapy Department Administrator at the Royalberkshire hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting the Occupational Therapy team. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Professional Lead of Occupational Therapy to ensure the smooth operation of the Therapies service.

Key Tasks:
  1. Support the timely completion of essential service tasks.
  2. Act as an Occupational Therapy receptionist and patient contact clerk in the Battle Block Outpatients and Therapies department.
  3. Contribute to delivering a high-quality, effective, and efficient Occupational Therapy service.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • GCSE education including English and Maths.
  • ECDL or equivalent IT literacy qualification.
  • Secretarial experience or high-volume patient booking/call centre work experience.
  • General public facing experience.
  • Hospital working understanding.
  • Health or social care environment experience.
  • NHS experience.
  • EPR knowledge.
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000.
