About the Role


Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in Bridgend, South Wales. As a Forensic Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering direct care to patients with mental health problems who are offenders or have a potential to offend.



What You Will Do:



  • Support trained nurses in delivering direct care to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions.
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Sisters, including a dedicated unit manager, to ensure high-quality care.


Requirements:



  • At least 1 year of recent and relevant experience within a forensic mental health setting.
  • Practical Manual Handling & PMVA/PBM training.
  • UK Resident and right to work in the UK.
