SEMH Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at a specialist provision catering to pupils aged 10-16. Our students have faced challenges and negative experiences in mainstream education, and we strive to break down barriers to learning, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Your unique skills and experience will be invaluable in helping these young people succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with SEMH needs in a specialist provision
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
