Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Auditor, Officer to join our Corporate Audit Division. In this role, you will be responsible for working on audit projects covering State Street's UK, Ireland, and International business, with a focus on Investment Management, Compliance, or Global Markets. To succeed, you will need to have a strong understanding of risk and control and be able to apply your technical knowledge to navigate complex business, operational, and technology challenges.

Key Responsibilities
As an Auditor, Officer, you will:
  • Assist in the performance of audits, focusing on fieldwork and testing the internal control environment of State Street Corporation.
  • Evaluate and test internal controls, assess risks, and apply audit skills.
  • Document audit tests and findings in audit work papers and memoranda.
  • Communicate audit progress and findings through reports and meetings.
  • Develop and write-up audit findings, making recommendations for review.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, Corporate Audit procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Complete audit projects from start to finish, adhering to internal methodology and IIA requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in executing assessments of business process and technology risks and controls.
