Job Title: AWS Engineer/Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join our team at VUE Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, EKS, and more.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand user requirements and provide technical guidance on cloud-based solutions.
  • Apply code quality and risk management standards to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Provide continuous improvement of software support, including production support.
  • Work with a range of technologies including Python, Typescript, Node.js, PHP, React, C#, Kubernetes, and more.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience with MySQL, AWS, and Python.
  • 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good planning and time-management skills.
  • Desire to work using agile methodologies such as TDD and CI/CD.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Salford Quays
