Gardener/ Grounds Maintenance Specialist

Vermelo RPO is seeking a skilled Gardener/ Grounds Maintenance Assistant to join their team in Tunbridge Wells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the grounds on multiple sites, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.
  • Perform general gardening tasks, including pruning, weeding, and planting.
  • Accurately complete time sheets, budgetary records, and chemical records to ensure efficient operations.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure they are in clean and safe working order.
  • Contribute to improving grounds and garden maintenance practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Carry out maintenance works within the grounds or buildings as instructed by and under the direction of the Estates Supervisor.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills, with a practical and can-do approach.
  • Good work ethic, with an energetic and flexible approach to work.
