Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources (HR) specialist to join our Advisory business unit. This is a generalist HR role, where you will work collaboratively with our enabling teams and provide specialist advice and best practice across the employee life cycle.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will have a strong focus on coaching and supporting managers through employee relations cases, including absence management, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary actions. You will also provide sound advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and legislation, ensuring a consistent and pragmatic approach.
You will proactively manage absence and wellbeing cases, monitor absence data, and manage Occupational Health referrals. Additionally, you will advise on family-friendly policies, agile working guidance, secondments, transfers, cross-border remote working requests, and relocations.
This is a varied role that requires excellent analytical and numeracy skills, as well as good IT skills, including proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office. You will work closely with our HR shared services and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely transfer of information.
Requirements- Prior experience in an HR advisory role, with excellent knowledge of managing employee relations cases in accordance with UK legislation.
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and people information.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including private medical insurance, health cash plan, and comprehensive wellbeing program.
