OCR Alpha is a leading quantitative hedge fund that leverages cutting-edge technology to drive innovation in the financial industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our Operations team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional support to our trading team, ensuring seamless execution of trades and timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with our risk management team to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with our trading activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our counterparties, ensuring smooth communication and efficient settlement of trades.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong academic background in a relevant field, such as Economics, Maths, Physics, or Finance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL and VBA, with experience in automating and streamlining processes.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary in the range of £55,000 - £70,000, depending on experience.
