Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting the clinical and operational team to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused care to our service users.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for undertaking advanced clinical assessments, formulating evidence-based treatment plans, and providing expert clinical advice to support the delivery of effective care. You will also be involved in service delivery, providing leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with clients with complex needs. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, families, and other stakeholders.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Undertake advanced clinical assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide expert clinical advice to support the delivery of effective care
  • Involved in service delivery, providing leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Work effectively with service users, families, and other stakeholders

Person Specification

  • Registered Mental Health Professional (RMN, AHCP)
  • Educated to degree level (at least 2:2 at honours degree)
  • GCSE or Level 2 Maths and English Language with original certificates required
  • 3 years postgraduate experience
  • Clinical supervision training and experience
  • Willingness to work towards and complete the MSc in Advanced Practice
