Job Title: Advanced Practitioner Emergency Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Lewisham NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our 24-hour Hyper Acute Sickle Cell Unit (HASCU) and work closely with our haematology team to deliver high-quality care to patients admitted to the hospital.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating drug therapy, communicating with patients, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic programmes to improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate drug therapy within agreed clinical guidelines
  • Communicate with patients to empower them to make informed choices about their health
  • Implement and manage evidence-based therapeutic programmes
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in haematology or a related field. You will have a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent, and be registered with the NMC or HCPC.
