Reactive Maintenance Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at A Plus Clean. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that repairs and maintenance jobs are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and coordination of operatives' diaries to ensure appointments are met and rescheduled if necessary.
- Tracking and monitoring of repairs from start to finish to ensure all jobs are completed within target timescales.
- Prioritizing and assigning jobs to the appropriate operatives, ensuring they have the necessary materials and minimal travel time.
- Providing exceptional customer care, keeping tenants informed and resolving issues in the most cost-effective way.
- Collaborating with different teams and departments to meet performance targets and provide feedback on operative performance when needed.
- Monitoring the completion of jobs to maintain high standards and punctuality.
- At least 3 years of scheduling or coordination experience, preferably in the social housing, cleaning, or maintenance sector.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle calls professionally and empathetically.
- A positive attitude, ready to take initiative and problem-solve independently.
- High level of accuracy in managing schedules and data.
- Familiarity with CRM or scheduling software is a plus, but full training can be provided.
- Competitive salary up to £32,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
