About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in accessing educational opportunities to achieve competence and qualifications relevant to their abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and deliver educational programs for patients with mental health needs, taking into account their individual requirements and abilities.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of activity to ensure patients achieve their educational goals.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to patients.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports of patient progress and educational achievements.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of educational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in English.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification in post-16 or secondary education.
  • Experience of teaching adults with challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of activity.
  • Proven communication skills (written and oral).
  • Advanced Level IT Skills - Competent to Level 2 ICT.
