About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Trusts and Grants Manager to join our ambitious Fundraising Team at Rethink Mental Illness.

This is a truly exciting time to join our organization, as we have developed an ambitious 5-year growth strategy to fund our services and respond to the current mental health emergency. To enable us to deliver this strategy, we are investing in the team to ensure we can develop a diverse and sustainable Trusts and Foundations portfolio made up of prospects with capacity to give £5k - £1m+.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize existing funder relationships to secure partnerships and drive change.
  • Develop new partnerships with Strategic Funders to support our Communities that Care strategy.
  • Produce compelling applications and provide excellent stewardship to Trusts and Foundations of all sizes.
  • Work closely with the Head of Trusts and Grants to research, build relationships, and secure partnerships.
  • Support the development of programmes and projects with front-line colleagues.
What You'll Need
  • Excellent relationship management skills and experience in securing partnerships.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify new funding opportunities.
  • Ability to produce compelling applications and provide excellent stewardship.
  • Experience working with Trusts and Foundations of all sizes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
