We are seeking an experienced Immunotherapy Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our acute oncology nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Immunotherapy service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative pathways to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital admissions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert advice on acute oncology issues and presentations.
- Lead and support the Acute Oncology CNS teams across all four sites, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff development.
- Translate national and local policies into local specialist practice, driving change and improvement in patient care.
- Develop and implement changes to policies and guidelines in the specialist field of practice.
- Work collaboratively with Cancer Networks to advance the acute oncology agenda.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's in nursing, including advanced clinical practice skills, and experience in cancer nursing and SACT. You should also have teaching, assessing, and presentation skills, as well as change management and negotiating skills.
Desirable qualifications include teaching experience, evidence of quality improvement initiatives, and leadership qualifications.
