About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Fugro, a leading provider of Geo-data solutions for the marine and offshore industries.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising our electrical staff with the installation and mobilisation of jack up barges, offshore drills and subsea drills to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise electrical staff with installation and mobilisation of equipment
  • Ensure the smooth running and operation of electrical equipment and plant
  • Work closely with systems department to support new build design and upgrade work
  • Collaborate with site electricians, mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and vessel crew to ensure minimal downtime and maintenance schedules are upheld
  • Communicate with external parties such as equipment manufacturers, technical support engineers, and external suppliers
Requirements
  • Industrial or marine background
  • Approved electrical apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds level 3 electrotechnical studies
  • 18th edition
  • Experience leading and supporting a team
  • Ability to bring new and innovative ideas to improve working practice
  • Understanding of project planning and target delivery
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and coach a team
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Experience with 3 phase systems and motors/generators
  • Experience with carrying out maintenance activities on electrical equipment
  • C&G 2391 desirable
