About the Role

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Falmouth. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the construction, commissioning, inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team with the construction, commissioning, inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Work closely with the fitting and fabrication teams to ensure plant and equipment is delivered and maintained to a high specification
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Technical engineers to ensure plant and equipment is kept up and running with minimal downtime
  • Work under the Electrical Supervisor on a day-to-day basis
  • Travel to sites or vessels as required to support operations
Requirements
  • Strong heavy industry or marine background
  • Approved electrical apprenticeship
  • NVQ level 3 electrical engineering
  • City & Guilds level 3 electrotechnical studies
  • 18th edition
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Experience of 3 phase systems and motors / generators
  • Experience with carrying out maintenance activities on electrical equipment
  • C&G 2391 desirable
