About the Role:

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Falmouth. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our team with the construction, commissioning, inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the construction, commissioning, inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Work closely with the fitting and fabrication teams to ensure that plant and equipment is delivered and maintained to a high specification
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Technical engineers to ensure that plant and equipment is kept up and running with minimal downtime
  • Work under the Electrical Supervisor on a day-to-day basis
  • Travel to support operations around the world, including the installation/mobilisation of jack-up barges, offshore drills, subsea drills, and general upkeep and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Strong heavy industry or marine background
  • Approved electrical apprenticeship
  • NVQ level 3 electrical engineering
  • City & guilds level 3 electrotechnical studies
  • 18th edition
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Experience of 3 phase systems and motors/generators
  • Experience with carrying out maintenance activities on electrical equipment
  • C&G 2391 would be desirable
