Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Orthopaedic Specialist to join our team at Ramsay Health Care Clinical in New Hall Hospital, Salisbury.

As an Operating Theatre Orthopaedic Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during orthopaedic procedures, ensuring the smooth running of operations and maintaining a safe environment for patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions;
  • Significant surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs;
  • Ophthalmology experience would be desirable but not essential;
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable but not essential;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently;
  • Flexible and positive attitude;
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
