Key Responsibilities

The Research Publication Specialist will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Chemistry journals, working closely with editors, authors, and the wider academic community to ensure a steady flow of high-quality manuscripts. This will involve establishing networks with key external and internal stakeholders to manage and develop the portfolio successfully.

You will monitor continuous quality control and all aspects of day-to-day editorial, production, and publishing operations, addressing improvements where needed. Meeting portfolio objectives regarding content growth, market share, citation share, relative impact factor, editorial speeds, and author and editor satisfaction will also be a key aspect of this role.

A strong educational background and keen interest in academic publishing are essential, with proficiency in English, both written and oral. Experience communicating across international boundaries is also desirable. We offer a comprehensive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $130,000-$160,000 based on location, as well as a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, home office allowance, and generous vacation entitlement.
