Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Manager Lead to join our team at RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires frequent travel to sites throughout the UK.


The successful candidate will have experience working in the energy industry, preferably in renewables, with a demonstratable history of management of HV systems. They will be responsible for planning, implementation, and reporting of all activities on the HV network and associated equipment, with a focus on HSE while maximising production.


Main Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Leadership: Ensure the health, safety, and environmental management of all HV apparatus, associated equipment, and individuals on site.
  • Technical & Performance: Prepare, review, and implement HV O&M plans for sites under their accountability to agreed targets.
  • Commercial & Financial: Support tendering activities required in relation to the HV infrastructure on sites under their responsibility.

Requirements
  • A technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience working in the Energy Industry preferably renewables with a demonstratable history of Management of HV systems.
  • Experience of operating within safety, environmental, and operational policies, frameworks, and statutory legislation.

About the Role

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading renewable energy company and contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.
