Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Infrastructure Manager to join our team at RWE Gruppe. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires frequent travel to sites throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will have a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering and proven experience working in the energy industry, preferably with a demonstratable history of managing high voltage systems. They will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental management of all high voltage apparatus and associated equipment on site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractor safety and perform Technical Officer responsibilities for contractors involved with the high voltage network and associated equipment.
  • Accommodate and conduct regular safety audits across the high voltage portfolio, ensuring all actions arising are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Support incident investigations and reporting requirements.
  • Review of Safety Alerts and Notices and implementation of lessons learnt.
  • Setting to work and Tool box talk provisions.
  • Ensure a Safe System of Work is in place and adhered to in respect of all work taking place across the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • A technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience working in the Energy Industry preferably renewables with a demonstratable history of Management of HV systems.
  • Experience of operating within safety, environmental and operational policies, frameworks and statutory legislation.
  • A suitable Health & Safety Qualification (IOSH Working Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate).

The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
