About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Manager to join our team at EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment. As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to boost our brand across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Lead the implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness within the industry.
  • Content Creation and Management: Write, develop, audit, update, and manage content for our website, social media, and internal intranet, ensuring all content is current, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Brand Representation: Oversee and manage our presence on referral websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content.
  • Internal Communications: Write and distribute regular internal communications to keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Content Opportunities: Identify and create content opportunities for marketing, public relations (PR), and showcasing our work to external audiences.
  • Event Research and Planning: Lead the research and recommendation of third-party industry events, including participation, sponsorship opportunities, and speaking engagements.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, English Literature, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 Years' relevant experience in a marketing and communication role, preferably (but not essential) within the civil and environmental engineering industry.
  • Skills: Proven experience in creating, editing, and managing digital content across various formats, including websites, advertorials, editorials, and social media platforms.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content and communication strategies that support brand messaging and engagement.
  • Analytics: Competence in using analytics to evaluate content performance and inform strategic improvements.

Working Arrangements:

3-4 days in our Richmond office.

Salary: Up to £60,000.
