Care Worker

Southport, Sefton, United Kingdom WarrenCare Full time

At WarrenCare, we are committed to providing person-centred care in the community of Southport. If you are a naturally caring person and would like to make a difference to the lives of others, we invite you to consider a career as a Care Worker.

As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes, providing high-quality services that enable them to achieve their potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivating service users to get the most out of their day
  • Providing personal care and support
  • Preparing meals and assisting with medication
  • Offering companionship and support with social outings

We offer a competitive salary of £12.60-£13.10 per hour, plus mileage, and the opportunity to receive full training. If you are a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference, we encourage you to apply.

Our Care Workers enjoy a good work-life balance, with alternative weekend shifts and the opportunity to further their careers if desired. We run inductions and training on a weekly basis, so you can start as soon as possible.

Please note that this is a Support in the Community position, not a care home. We cannot offer sponsorship for overseas workers, and you must currently live in the UK and have the right to work to apply.

Due to the high volume of female-only service user population and the intimate nature of the role responsibilities, gender is considered a genuine occupational requirement for this role, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010.
