Job Title: Marketing & Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in writing, designing, and updating marketing materials, including brochures, white papers, articles, video scripts, and web content.
  • Manage third-party agencies, including PR and creative agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate brand standards internally and among distributors.
  • Support in the creation and management of social media content, in line with company strategy.
  • Support in online marketing activities, such as email campaigns and website maintenance.
  • Plan and execute tradeshows and other events.
  • Support sales with ad hoc requests.
  • Deliver creative ideas for campaigns, market introduction, and PR activities.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing digital media data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be customer-focused, both internal and external.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid graphic design skills with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CRM experience, preferably with SalesForce.com (SFDC) and Marketo an advantage.
  • Website CMS experience in AEM an advantage.

Work Arrangement:

This role is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours/week) maternity cover fixed-term contract (approximately 6 months duration) and we are looking for this cover to commence in October 2024.

The role can be worked on a remote basis within the UK with travel as required to our UK sites in Skelmersdale and Dundee.
