The James Hutton Institute is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to support our targets for sales and drive growth.

Work closely with Business Development Managers to establish their needs and scientific staff to establish their services.

Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.

Produce engaging content for channels such as mailers, social media, and website pages.

Conduct marketing research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.

Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI.

Lead and mentor marketing assistants on a six-month rotational basis to support the work of Scientific Services.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Formal qualification in communications/marketing or equivalent experience.

Experience in communicating science or technical issues.

Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive results.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
