We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our large and growing Finance Team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department supervisor and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger Management: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, ensuring timely and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
  • Sales Ledger Management: You will manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of sales transactions, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Bank Reconciliations: You will perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or errors that may occur.
  • Reporting and Analysis: You will update reports and spreadsheets for management, providing valuable insights and analysis to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: You will need previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial procedures and systems.
