Job Summary

This role is a critical component of the safety framework at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring the safe and effective management of medical devices across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Developing and coordinating medical devices safety and management strategies
  • Leading incident reporting and learning initiatives
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for NHS England, MHRA, and medical device manufacturers
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements
  • Participating in the National Medical Devices Safety Network and the Trust Equipment Strategy Group

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:
