Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Professional to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of industrial process and production equipment.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established food manufacturer with a global presence. They are currently undergoing growth and CI Projects at one of their sites, which has led to the requirement for two new maintenance engineers to join their processing and manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on all industrial process and production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, bucket elevators, belts, chains, rotating equipment, and PLCs.
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns, and overhauls.
  • Improve plant availability, reliability, and continuous improvement work.
  • Monitor contractors on-site.

Requirements

  • A Maintenance Engineering Professional with a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working with industrial processing and equipment and manufacturing systems.
  • Mandatory requirement: worked in an industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures.
  • Experience using SAP would be beneficial.
  • Advantageous if worked with PLC systems.

Earned Annual Salary

We anticipate that the successful candidate can earn up to £62,000 per year, depending on performance and experience.
