About the CompanyWe are a large-scale manufacturing business based in Bristol, seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Engineer will be directly responsible for planned preventative maintenance and reactional maintenance. The role is an almost exclusively mechanically based position operating on a DuPont style shift pattern (12-hour rotating shift patterns, with a week off every four weeks).
Detailed Job Description- Collaboration: Work in a team of two, divided between mechanical and electrical specialisms, working towards a TPM mentality.
- Documentation: Record equipment history on computer systems and maintain accurate documentation.
- Scheduling: Plan and execute maintenance schedules within set timescales.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong mechanical skills, converse circuit diagrams, and operate hand/machine tools.
- Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with contractors and stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong mechanical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in maintenance operations.
