About the Role

  • \
  • Detailed recording of equipment history on computer systems and complete documentation as required.\
  • Liaise with and manage Service Contractors as needed.\
  • Carry out planned maintenance schedules within a given timescale.\
  • Machine repair to assembly level - undertake workshop repair of machine components, conversant with circuit diagrams and the use of hand/machine tools, able to use diagnostic and test instrumentation.\
  • Design and manufacture - Identify needs for continuous improvement, carry out design and manufacture from drawing board to installation.\
  • Reporting and logging of tasks - Inputting information into a computerized maintenance system, recording all tasks and stores movements. Keep all machine drawings up to date, noting modifications.\
  • Total Preventive Maintenance - Advise and provide engineering support on TPM initiatives.\

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical skills are essential.\
  • Be a time-served apprentice, electrical or mechanical.\
  • A proven track record of maintenance in a factory setting.\
  • Have some machining experience.\
