Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of a range of pharmacy services.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in hospital pharmacy practice and be registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). They will also possess an accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification or be willing to achieve it within 12 months of commencement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of our medicines management pharmacy technician service.

Main Responsibilities
  • To maintain compliance with King's policies and procedures for Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians.
  • To develop and participate in ward-based pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff.
  • To manage calls and requests as appropriate for the pharmacy team via the Wifi phones.
  • To cover or participate in dispensary services, as necessary.
