Teaching Assistant SEND Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant SEND Specialist to join our team at Axcis Education Recruitment.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant SEND Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' educational and developmental needs.
Key responsibilities include providing tailored support to children with ASC to enhance their learning and personal development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inclusive and engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of the pupils.
- Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils, fostering independence and confidence.
- Work closely with the SLT and other professionals to monitor and support the pupils' progress.
- Maintain accurate records of the pupils' development, reporting any concerns to the relevant personnel.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with ASC, is strongly preferred.
An NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Teaching Assistance or a related field is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
This is a full-time role with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
