About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant with Axcis Education Recruitment, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in Bournemouth, Dorset. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, facilitating communication, and promoting social and emotional development among pupils.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver inclusive lessons that cater to individual pupil needs

* Encourage independence and confidence through social and emotional support

* Collaborate with SLT and professionals to monitor pupil progress and develop targeted support strategies

* Maintain accurate records of pupil development and report any concerns to relevant personnel

Requirements:

* Prior experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with ASC, is highly valued

* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Teaching Assistance or a related field is required

* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with pupils, staff, and parents

Compensation and Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary range of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND and ASC.
