Job Title: Dementia Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at ProfDoc in Carlisle, working within a female acute ward setting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape clinical services, support staff development, and drive the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.

The role involves leading psychiatric assessments and diagnosis for women on the acute ward, providing expert clinical guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and other team members, and offering psychiatric support for mental health and crisis management, including medication management.

The ideal candidate must be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a valid license to practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric assessments and diagnosis for women on the acute ward
- Provide expert clinical guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and other team members
- Offer psychiatric support for mental health and crisis management, including medication management

Requirements:
- Full registration with the GMC and a valid license to practice

Estimated Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum
