Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team at Hamilton Mayday. This role will involve assisting with managing banquets, high-volume catering, and fine dining functions in the Oxfordshire area.

About Us:

Our client is leading the way in setting high standards for the Oxford University Hospitality team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests.

Salary and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is £34,292, depending on experience, with 38 days of holiday time. The position offers a flexible 40-hour working week, working 5 days out of 7.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the management of banquets, high-volume catering, and fine dining functions
Coordinating with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests

Requirements:

Experience within the University, Hotel or in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred
