Lead a Retail Branch and Inspire Your Team

Hays Travel is seeking a talented Branch Manager to lead our retail branch and inspire their team to deliver exceptional customer service. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall profitability of your branch, maximising sales, and exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the branch, including foreign exchange and sales
  • Coach and develop your team members to reach their full potential
  • Inspire customers through providing exceptional customer service
  • Develop new business leads and maximise social media to promote offers and generate customer engagement and sales
  • Oversee and support team members' performance, identifying areas for development to achieve maximum productivity and colleague motivation
  • Act as a figurehead within the local community, attending promotional activities and events to aid branch performance and impact
  • Assist in the recruitment of colleagues into your branch, including apprentices, and ensure their development is tailored to their talent progression
Requirements:
  • Great leadership skills and experience of working with a team
  • Ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team
  • Ability to work towards individual and team sales targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service experience
  • Good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statistics
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business
  • Ability to assist with the development of colleagues to maximise job satisfaction, performance, and talent succession
  • Competent IT skills
