Job Overview
The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Fetal Surveillance Midwife to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of fetal monitoring and intrapartum risk assessments.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Saving Babies' Lives Care Bundle (SBLCBV2), focusing on improving standards within Element 2; Risk assessment, prevention, and surveillance of pregnancies at risk of fetal growth restriction (FGR via GAP/GROW) and Element 3: Raising awareness of reduced fetal movement (RFM) and the new Element 5; Reducing preterm birth.

Essential Criteria
- Registered Midwife.
Desirable Criteria
- Teaching qualification or relevant experience.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential Criteria
- Post-registration experience - including recent Labour Ward experience.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Desirable Criteria
- Proficient and expert understanding of Saving Babies Lives Elements and associated clinical skills.
- Audit experience.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
