About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives growth and sustainability for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board to set annual fundraising and marketing goals
  2. Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with the organization's mission and objectives
  3. Secure financial support from individuals, foundations, government resources, and corporations
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors and stakeholders
  5. Develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising
  6. Oversee the preparation and implementation of regular donor solicitation campaigns
  7. Develop and implement fundraising events that engage and inspire our community
  8. Assist with Board Development Committee and engage Board members in fundraising and special events
  9. Provide regular development reports to the Executive Director and Board
  10. Develop solicitation materials for the fundraising team
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of success in fundraising, including individual and corporate giving, government and foundation grants, and special events. A bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution is required, and a Certificate in fundraising management is highly desirable. Five years of development experience, including experience with fundraising software and familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting, is essential.

We are committed to training law students and practicing lawyers to recognize and litigate valid innocence claims and providing reentry services to innocent people who have been exonerated to assist them in their transition home and back into society.
