Job Title: Adult Care Manager

Leonard Cheshire Disability is seeking an experienced Adult Care Manager to lead our care team and provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Adult Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our care team and ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
  • Ensure that our services are delivered in a safe and effective manner, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the efficient delivery of our services.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that our services are integrated and effective.
Requirements
  • A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration (as appropriate to the needs of the service).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent as required for registration.
  • Substantial experience in managing care teams / supervisory or management experience in a care environment.
  • Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
  • Experience of a range of different departments i.e. therapies, transport, catering, administration, care and maintenance is advantageous.
