Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our team at Dorandene, a care home for adults with physical and learning disabilities in Reigate, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clear direction and management to a great staff team, promoting positive outcomes for disabled people.
  • Ensure the service is well-run, compliant with health and safety management, and meets statutory obligations.
  • Manage budgets and operate a financially sound service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring achievement of national minimum care standards.
  • Hold registration for the service.
Requirements
  • A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in managing care teams or supervisory/management experience in a care environment.
  • Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service.
  • Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
