Job Overview

As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team and provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and shopping, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Support clients with personal care needs, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
